The International Network of Women in Cooling (INWIC) was pleased to receive a visit from Sarah E. Maston, President of INWIC partner organisation ASHRAE, at its booth during Chillventa 2026 in Nuremberg, Germany. Also present was Gratiela-Maria Tarlea, INWIC Board Member representing AREA.

The visit provided an opportunity to connect and celebrate women’s contributions across the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump sector, including emerging talent such as Milena Boettcher from Germany. Standing at the centre holding her award, Milena is the winner of Category B (Women in Cooling) in the Women & Youth in Cooling 2026 Video Competition (4th Edition), organized by AREA and WRD.
