On 8 June 2026, a Women in Science event was held during the IIR International Conference on Solid State Cooling, Heating and Energy Harvesting (THERMAG XI), bringing together women working across science and engineering.
The event provided a welcoming space for participants to connect, share experiences, and inspire one another alongside the conference, where experts from science, industry, and policy explored advances in solid-state technologies and promoted collaboration across disciplines.
