From 6th to 8th November 2023, the 20th Women in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (WiHVACR) Annual Conference was held in Jacksonville, United States under the theme “Go BOLD: Believe, Overcome, Lead, Determine”.

Several members of the International Network of Women in Cooling (INWIC) were given the incredible opportunity to attend and give a presentation at this event. It was the occasion to meet the 500 women attending, coming from all sectors of the HVAC/RACHP industry.

Jacinta Caden from the World Refrigeration Day, Sonja Wagner from the OzonAction UNEP, and President-Elect Ina Colombo-Youla from the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) got to share their stories and initiatives from the main stage. Their presentations focused on their personal educational and career paths. The IIR took the opportunity to promote the brochure “Women in cooling: a worldwide survey” by highlighting the figures from respondents in North America.
